Tech Students touching Tribute to caring teacher

Masonry instructor Mike Dumont loved working with his students at the Greater Lowell Tech, he helped inspire them in creating the Patriots mosaic in honor of Myra Kraft, and getting them the opportunity to present it to Robert Kraft at Gillette Stadium in January of 2013. He also got to take the students to the Patriots’ game the next day when Mr. Kraft gave them tickets on the 50-yard line.

Tragically Michael passed away after a freak accident at home later that year. Leaving behind his amazing wife Paula, his daughter Courtney who just graduated from the Tech a few weeks ago and his daughter Hannah who is a student at the Tech and is active in cheerleading and other sports at the school.

The Masonry students and masonry dept. have shown they haven’t forgot Michael and what he meant to them by unveiling a mosaic in his honor which will be placed somewhere at the school.

In addition to teaching and his family Mike’s other great love was golf and his fellow teacher’s knew that and the students created this mosaic to honor his memory, his love for them and their love for this caring teacher, dad and husband.
