Things are going so well in the city that after taking School vacation Week off the Council has another of their “Special Meetings” this time focusing on the Auditor.
This makes 3 out of the last 5 weeks that the City Council has NOT met in a regular session (March 27 and Tomorrow “Special Sessions – Last week off)
One the one hand I am glad to see them reviewing the department they are responsible for but two weeks in a row without a councilor being able to file a motion and only 2 ‘Regular” sessions in 5 weeks makes you wonder if they should shift back to the every other week meeting and have these ‘Special” ones on their “Off” week?
Makes me ask why did they switch back to a meeting every week when clearly they are now showing one isn’t required.
The Manager also gets this week off since the Auditor like the Clerk works for the Council and since he wasn’t at the Clerk’s Meeting no reason to be there at the Auditors.
Bet next weeks meeting has many many many motions and Manager’s Items.
