In her first election Franky Descoteaux surprised many by finishing a strong 3rd. Owner of various downtown businesses Councilor Descoteaux brings the viewpoint of the businessperson, a fact you can see in many of her motions. She is also a strong advocate for many social issues and neighborhood concerns.
