CONVENTION/CONFERENCE REQUESTS:
1. Overnight Field Trip Request: LHS Staff Colleen Winn and Wayne Currie, along with chaperones, to take approximately 50 Gear-Up students to New York City from Thursday, July 28th and return on Friday, July 29, 2011. Statewide Commonwealth Corp/Service Alliance and Gear-up Grant funds will pay for all expenses.

2. Jason DiCarlo, Murkland School Principal and Rebecca Hyde, Murkland School Literacy Specialist, respectfully request permission to attend the Teachers College Writing Project at Columbia University in New York from Monday, August 15 through Friday, August19, 2011. The cost of $1350 will be funded by Redesign Grant funds. No substitute teachers are needed.
