Who woke JFK, er, I mean, Councilor Murphy up?
Don’t be so quick to diss the councilor. I stated in the early part of the year he should slow down on his motion and since then have watched him and found that the net result of all of his motions, including the CitiStat motion is that they have produced more savings and revenues for the city than cost the city funds. Something you can’t say about all of the other councilors. CitiStat which he championed has identified over half a million dollars of savings in its first half year of operation.
For a first time, first term councilor I think he has done pretty well .
