HAPPY NEW YEAR to All.

There is an old tradition where on New Years Eve you put out money along with your new years resolutions then take them in the next morning, it is supposed to be lucky and make you more money and have them come true. So last night I drove around to various homes and found some interesting resolutions. (Don’t tell anyone you read them here).

City Manager Lynch: I Will be more outgoing and will be a better communicator. I will have lunch with Alan Kazanjian, Fred Doyle and Bud to clear up any misunderstandings.

City Councilor Rita Mercier: I will Review my non-disclosure agreement with my speech writers. I Promise to be nicer to the City Manager in case Anthes and McDonough are right.

City Councilor Patrick Murphy: I will keep writing letters to Gov. Patrick endorsing Nangle for Sheriff. I will get Martin out of possible race by writing a letter to the Sun pointing out he doesn’t file any motions.

City Councilor Bill Martin: I will write Letter to the Sun pointing out that 17 year old voting and green buildings aren’t really pressing issues in this economy. I will continue writing letters to get Nangle Sheriff job.

City Councilor Joe Mendonca: I will keep being assertive as I did in Kazanjian case. I will show I’m not the mild manner guy Rodney is. I will show I am the real Pawtucketville guy.

School Committee member Jackie Doherty: I will keep beating the drum over the high cost of Athletics, I will pass on invitation for Lunch with the Headmaster. I will send Bill Taupier that overdo Thank You Card.

School committee member Dave Conway: I will Keep making Council speeches during School Committee meetings.I will ask Martin and Broderick who did their polling a few years ago and if I can get it cheap.

School Committee member Allison Laraba: I will push and support Conway to go to Council. I will work to convince Fantacanti it’s time for a comeback. I will hold out hope again this election, people will elect anyone but her.

Fred Doyle, Council candidate: I will get polling company name from Chris Doherty. I will check on cost of the Mad Dog Mail company he used. I will talk to Bud, Rita , Alan and Cox to get ammo for non-stop attacks on Manager.

Gerry Nutter, Blogger: I will call Jim O’Loughlin and see if he will be my editor / proof reader. I will have dinner with Barry Finegold and Tom Golden and I will stop my attempts at humourous columns. (I was hoping Jim O would catch and correct me and he did
