We have had some pretty sensational stories hit the paper this past year but I have not seen the follow up to any of them. Do you think that they are still ongoing?
“Lowell City Councilor Kazanjian’ records subpoenaed by DA”
“Kazanjian project’s sewer tie-in questioned: Chelmsford building was linked to Lowell system despite city’s denial order”
“Police Investigating Lowell Property Sale”
“FBI joins Lowell inspection probe”
The old saying about the wheels of justice grind slowly comes to mind. My guess is you would find that the investigations are still on going.
The problem with the Headlines is when the Feds or State don’t find anything, there is no Headline to state that Alan K found innocent or No Charges brought against Tom Byrne.
The paper of record doesn’t retract or clear people in the same manner they crucify them.
Some Blog sites don’t either. I was wrong about both Kevin Murphy and George o’Hare being in Conflict of Interest and said so when no conflict was found. If you wrong admit it, apologize and move on but the paper doesn’t ever seem to follow that or hasn’t in the past.
Let’s see what the future brings.
