Due to the Formal Session ending 07/31/2010, no action will be taken relative to the Home Rule Petition. Please contact me in January of 2011 to discuss the status and process of the petition.

I appreciate the update from Rep. Murphy and the offer to touch base with him in January to follow the process of the petition.
As I predicted when you published the candidate responses, the issue was ignored. Colleen Garry can continue to “investigate the matter” until after the election. Care to guess what she will discover should she be reelected?
If you are happy with the way the statehouse is run, if you think public employees have already paid too high a price in the recession vote to reelect Ms. Garry. If you want to see some reform of state government VOTE BOAG.
So he’ll get back to yo after about five months. Guess the arduous task of running for re-election has begun.
Um..It’s only July! So we have to wait six months? Wish I was getting paid a cool $65K to work six months of the year.
