And in these challenging economic times she’s focused on creating jobs. I have known and worked with Niki for many years. She is accessible and accountable to her constituents, and she is working hard for us every day. I am honored to once again be a part of her team,” said Murphy Meehan.

“I have great respect for Ellen and her long record of activism, leadership and accomplishment. She is an invaluable resource for my campaign and I look forward to working with her again. Ellen understands that in these tough times our priority in the 5th District must be job creation and getting our economy back on track. I look forward to working closely with Ellen during this race to ensure that these critical issues continue to have a strong voice in Washington.”
