Congresswoman Tsongas to talk Health Care – Answer your ?

Again showing the conviction to stand behind her beliefs and in her continuing effort to meet her constituents, Congresswoman Niki Tsongas has scheduled a telephone Town Hall meeting with anyone in the 5th district who is interested tomorrow Wednesday evening March 31st to discuss the impact of health-care reform.

The Lowell Sun also has the information on its Web site and I’m sure will have a story in tomorrow’s paper.

The conference will start at 7 p.m. Congresswoman Tsongas had previously scheduled the question-and-answer session for last week, but it was canceled when the voting wasn’t complete.

If you want to ask questions and hear the Congresswoman call 888-886-6602, and enter 14420# as an access code.

I give the Congresswoman credit for her continuing effort to reach the people of the district.

Chrism Tuesday

Most people are aware of the BIG 3 Days of Holy Week – Holy Thursday -Good Friday -Easter Sunday

Today however is also an important day in Holy Week, at least for the Priest and Bishops. Today at the Cathedral in Boston and in each Diocese all over the world there is a Mass concelebrated by the bishop and priests of a diocese in communion with their people.

It is meant to publicly express the unity of the diocese, the unity of the priests and their bishop, and to celebrate the institution of the priesthood and priestly service.

The Oils and consecrating of Chrism for all of the diocese takes place at this Mass. Performed by the Bishop or Archbishop to be used by the parish priest for the anointing of the sick and confirmation at the Parish is done today.

Let us remember, the majority of men who serve as Priest are good and caring men celebrating the Holiest week of the year, so today say a little prayer for these Good and Holy men who serve those of us who believe .

Healthcare Benifits for MA.

The Bill may not be perfect but it will help cut the cost of healthcare for the small businesses (I work at one and we have researched this) and by 2014 will provide some tax releif for families.

Colleen has been in the House since 1995 and while not a chair person is on the House Ways and Means Committee which works with their Senate Counterparts in designing the Budget. Dracut is fortunate to have a Sate Rep. on the powerful Ways and Means Committee. She is also on the
